ICKC member Phil Barnett will share his thoughts on IC and KM. Formerly of PwC, Phil has started his own consultancy and is focusing on how the nature of intellectual assets and knowledge management has changed. Knowhow and trade secrets still constitute the bulk of the IA portfolio, but new knowledge management tools, such as CRM (customer relationship management), social collaboration applications (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), and personal mobile devices are driving the codification of these once-tacit assets to digital media. Knowledge management is now a distributed process, with clear IP risk implications.
Please click on the RSVP link to the right of this text box to let us know you are going to attend. Once you click "I will attend," your picture will appear and you will be on the list to receive the log-in info for the web-based meeting (it will come the day before the meeting).
Audience participation is encouraged through the comment screen.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE TIME IN YOUR AREA! The time for this meeting is 9 -10 AM EDT in Boston, 1-2 GMT. Click here for the correct time in your time zone.
